Squash blossoms have a delicate vegetal flavor and has a slight snap when you bite through the green stem. While I adore them deep friend and stuffed with cheese, putting them into a quesadilla with some homemade lacto-fermented salsa (recipe coming soon) is just as fabulous, but much easier to make.
